About Us

Who We Are

Al-Kareem Foundation is a UK-based registered charity organisation established with the aim of serving humanity through poverty relief, Islamic education, and community support. The foundation was founded with the vision of helping those facing hardship, including orphaned children, poor families, and vulnerable communities around the world, while also supporting those in need within the UK.

Since its establishment, Al-Kareem Foundation has been committed to providing essential support to individuals and families experiencing difficult circumstances. Through the generosity of donors and supporters, the foundation has been able to assist countless people by providing food, shelter, clean water, medical assistance, educational support, and other vital resources.

Our work is guided by the Islamic values of compassion, generosity, and responsibility towards others. We strive to bring hope and relief to those in need while creating long-term benefits for communities through sustainable charitable initiatives.

Our Founder & His Vision

Al-Kareem Foundation was founded by Mufti Syed Hussain Ibn Imamuddin, an Islamic scholar, educator, and community leader dedicated to the service of Islam and humanity.

Mufti Syed Hussain Ibn Imamuddin completed his Islamic studies at Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya, Bury, UK, where he studied the traditional Islamic sciences, including Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic, Tafsir, Aqeedah, and related disciplines. He has also pursued further specialised studies in Islamic jurisprudence and Ifta under senior scholars.

With a strong passion for spreading beneficial knowledge and serving communities, Mufti Syed Hussain Ibn Imamuddin established Al-Kareem Foundation as a platform to combine Islamic values with practical service. His vision is to create an organisation that supports people through both spiritual and practical means — providing knowledge, assistance, and opportunities for those who need them.

As part of this vision, he established An-Nidaa Academy, an educational initiative dedicated to providing accessible Islamic learning through structured programmes in Qur’an, Islamic studies, Arabic, Hadith, and the Alimiyyah curriculum. Through An-Nidaa Academy, the foundation seeks to preserve authentic Islamic scholarship while making beneficial knowledge accessible to students worldwide.
